Best Bets:

Bills vs. Cardinals: Over 56 1/2

The number is high but I still like the over between these two teams. The Cardinals have the number one offense in football, and have averaged just under 30 points per game this season. Pair that with the Bills, who have gone 6-2-1 on overs this year and I expect a shootout. The Bills played the Seahawks last week and won 44-34, and I expect them to have a very similar game plan against the Cardinals. Put the ball in Josh Allen’s hands, and let him make plays against a bad Cardinals defense. On the other side, Kyler Murray may be the hardest quarterback to game plan against. His legs have been a huge part of the Cardinals offensive success, and I don’t see a player on the Bills being able to spy him. I expect this game to go over in the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Ravens vs. Patriots: Ravens -7 1/2

The Ravens are a good football team. The Patriots are not. It seems like Bill Belichick has given up on this season, and I don’t see the Patriots having much of a chance on Sunday. The Ravens will continue their running offense, and try to dominate time of possession. If they get ahead early, they will force New England to throw the ball, which is their weakness. The Ravens pass rush and secondary will have a field day with Cam and the lack of weapons on the Patriots offense. This will be a ground and pound, boring type of game that Baltimore will dominate throughout and end up winning easily.

Charger vs. Dolphins: Over 48 1/2

It seems every game I watch the Chargers play in is always high scoring. The Dolphins defense is playing better than expected, but they still give up points. The Chargers average almost 26 points per game this year. The Dolphins average almost 28 points. The Chargers defense is so injured and hasn’t been able to stop anybody all year. I expect both rookie QB’s to have big games. I expect the Dolphins to go up early, and Herbert to bring the Chargers back late, falling just short of a win. This may be my favorite bet of the weekend.
